Course 002 | The Depression Chronicles Institute
Public Speaking for Community Educators
Turn what you know into something people can understand, remember and use.
You don’t need a perfect voice, a commanding stage presence or years of public-speaking experience to make a difference.
You need to know how to reach the people in front of you.

Speak with purpose. Teach with clarity.
Public Speaking for Community Educators is a practical, engaging course designed for educators, community leaders, volunteers, advocates and anyone who wants to communicate with greater clarity, confidence and purpose.
Across six modules and twelve lessons, you’ll learn how to organise meaningful presentations, explain complex ideas simply, engage different audiences, respond to unexpected questions and adapt when the room has other plans.
Through realistic scenarios, creative exercises, guided practice and a downloadable learner workbook, you’ll develop skills you can use in classrooms, community meetings, workshops, churches, organisations and everyday conversations.
The learner workbook will be available when the course opens.
